IQ-Software: Validation in accordance with ISO 26262
Companies in the automotive industry that develop safety-relevant E/E/PE systems must analyse them with regard to the ISO-26262 standard. Depending on the ASIL classification of the system, quantitative proof of safety must be provided to confirm compliance with the specified metrics (SPFM, LFM, PMHF). APIS offers the necessary modelling and calculation tools to provide this proof. In addition, ISO 26262 requires validation of the tools used (IQ-Software) with regard to the correct calculation of the metrics.
