Travelling by car
Conveniently located at the Wörth/Wiesent exit of the A3 autobahn, you can easily reach the training centre by car. There are plenty of parking spaces available, so you don't have to worry about finding a parking space early in the morning.
Travelling by public transport
Take public transport to Regensburg, where you will need a taxi to APIS in Wörth a.d. Donau (approx. 23 km).
We will be happy to assist you with booking a taxi. Please call us in good time beforehand.
Some recommendations to round off the training day:
World Heritage City of Regensburg
Regensburg is a beautiful, historic city on the Danube and only a short drive from Wörth. The historic center of Regensburg is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with numerous sights such as Regensburg Cathedral, the Stone Bridge and the Old Town Hall. A walk through the narrow streets of the old town, a visit to one of the cosy cafés or a stroll along the Danube promenade are highly recommended.
Wallhalla in Donaustauf
The Walhalla is an impressive hall of fame that towers high above the Danube. It was conceived by King Ludwig I of Bavaria in the 19th century and commemorates great figures in German history. The architecture and the panoramic view over the Danube are breathtaking and worth a visit.
Falkenstein Castle
Falkenstein Castle is picturesquely situated in the Bavarian Forest and is a fascinating destination for history fans. The medieval castle complex not only gives an insight into the past, but also a wonderful view over the surrounding forests and hills. There also hiking trails and opportunities for relaxing breaks.
The Hotel Beim Butz is located directly in Wörth a.d. Donau and is approx. 4 km away from the training venue. We recommend that you book one of the newly renovated rooms (comfort room category).
