APIS FMEA Camp (BT)
Open group seminars
Mitdenken, Mitreden, Mitgestalten - Gemeinsam vernetzen!
What is a BarCamp?
The ability to introduce your own topics and find suitable discussion partners at a traditional conference is limited. This is precisely where a barcamp comes in, offering a very open framework in which active exchange and networking is effectively promoted.
Open, participatory conference (also known as an “unconference”):
The participants jointly determine the content and the sequence of the sessions on the spot. There is no predetermined agenda.
No fixed speakers:
Anyone can propose and lead a session for their topic (knowledge, idea and opinion).
No spectators:
Every participant, whether layperson or expert, should actively participate.
Interactive exchange with a spirit of its own:
The main goal is to network with like-minded people on topics that really matter to you. The coffee break of conventional conferences is the main program item here! This is how a spirit of its very own develops.

Kill two birds with one stone for user conference participants
Save yourself travel costs/expenses and combine both conference formats. First attend the “APIS User Conference” (traditional conference) and then the “APIS FMEA Camp” (barcamp/unconference) immediately afterwards.
Early bird price for camp registration by June 30, 2025!

Target group
FMEA managers and FMEA facilitators:
The “APIS FMEA Camp” welcomes everyone who is interested in FMEA and related topics or would like to deepen their knowledge in this area. The decisive factor is the willingness to actively participate - whether it be by introducing your own topics or by engaging in discussions. Your openness to exchange and networking makes this Barcamp a valuable experience for you.
Prior knowledge
Knowledge and practical experience in applying FMEA methods according to AIAG/VDA or similar is helpful.
Basic functional/operational knowledge of FMEA software (preferably APIS IQ-Software) is also an advantage.

Camp: Preparation of the participant | My topics
APIS only provides the organizational framework with the premises, the catering and the time planning on the session board.
However, there is no agenda set by APIS. A Barcamp thrives on the sessions offered by the participants. This means that participants become contributors.
We therefore recommend that you prepare your currently most important topics in advance as a session offer. For this purpose, a brief description of the topic and the form of presentation (lecture, discussion, open questions) is sufficient. With this information, the joint session planning can be carried out quickly.
A projector and flipchart are available in the session room. If necessary, you can prepare important information or examples in advance so that you can use the session time primarily for the exchange with the other participants.
Camp contents: live agenda with session planning by participants
The participants decide together on site how the topics are to be treated in the session planning on the session board.
